This week finished our Economics Unit. We had began our business projects. Students were in groups of cupcakes, pretzels, brownies, cookies, and smoothies. In each business they had to calculate expenses, decide on a price, and calculate their profits. They then decided if their business would succeed or fail. They ended the week by creating an advertisement poster and sharing their business with their classmates. We also took a field trip to the bank to learn about saving and the purpose of a bank.
